David is that one annoying friend. You know that one. The one you constantly wonder why you’re even friends with, and then remember it’s because without him, you'd smile like... half as much. Maybe not at all.

He’s the human version of a candlestick: bright, quick to spark, and may be chaotic if left unsupervised.
With just a mischievous eyebrow raise, he’ll light up your whole day. Though he knows exactly when to poke fun and when to shut up and listen. He’ll lend a shoulder when you’re down... and then roast you for it later.

“Yikes, so there’s no rhythm in your life again? That’s bad.”

Now, don’t get it twisted, David isn’t a full-blown prank devil like Fred and George from Harry Potter, or Hawthorne Swift from Nevermoor levels of chaos. But his antics? Yeah, they can rival them when he puts his mind to it.
But here’s the thing...

What if under that big, mischievous smile, he’s hiding pressures of his own?

Pressures his friends only know about through jokes. Laughing at the pain so no one sees it.
And when that pressure finally cracks open... what if David becomes the team’s biggest problem?

What if the guy who usually jokingly lights up the room… now literally starts the fire?
Because in Alien Fighters, nothing is ever as it seems.

Alien Fighters: What's it about?

I know this is just my second post, but I feel like I haven’t really told you guys what the ‘Rokus’ pokus this whole thing is about. I wanted to do something about the traditional publishing path I chose but… sigh… I’ll save that for my next post. So basically, Alien Fighters is your average superhero story… like Percy Jackson and Power Rangers mashing together in… space. Okay, not literally space (I’m not a scientist 😅), but it does involve things you find in space. Like aliens. “But aliens can't be found in space, they're fictional!” Uhh, just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist.   So, I’ve been deliberately holding off on talking about this book (even though it’s what I really wanted to post right after the blog makeover two days ago). But I had my reasons! First, I needed to make sure you all were familiar with the series premise (read this post if you’re not), and those buggy alien terms too (check out this post if your brain melts every time I say “Mystarmour”).
